Abstract	The characters of the dermestid subfamily Marioutinae are reviewed and illustrated. Keys are provided for the genera of Marioutinae and two species of Mariouta Pic. Lectotype is designated for M ariouta stangei Reitter, 1910 (Turkmenistan).
