Abstract	The species Anthrenus flavidulus Reitter is redescribed and A. farsicus is synonymised under the former, based on comparison of the colour patterns and structures of the antennae, aedeagi and sternites IX. Thus, the number of valid species belonging to the Palaearctic Anthrenus pimpinellae complex is reduced to 26.
