Abstract
The lectotype and paralectotypes for the species Telopes dispar Redtenbacher, 1843 are designated and illustrated. Four new species are described: Telopes paradispar sp. nov. (Turkey), Telopes graecus sp. nov. (Greece), Telopes armeniacus sp. nov. (Armenia), Telopes israelicus sp. nov. (Israel). The species Telopes tessellatus Reitter, 1887 is newly recorded from Iraq and Jordan.
