Seven species and two subspecies of Dermestes pests were found in warehouses and processing plants of grain, commerce, foreign trade, and medicinal materials departments in Shaanxi Province, namely: Dermestes ater Deg., D.ater domesticus C., D.frischii Kung., D.maculatus (Deg.), D. shaanxiensis Cao,n.sp., D.laniarius Illiger.
