Abstract
Attagenus insidiosus sp.n. is described from stored products and bat roosts in East Africa, and included in a key to similar immaculate species. Attagenus elongatulus Casey is placed as a junior synonym of Attagenus brunneus Faldermann. The Russian species Attagenus simulans Solskij is treated as a subspecies of Attagenus unicolor (Brahm). The taxonomic value of the armature in the bursa copulatrix of female Attagenus species is discussed.
