Abstract
The results of 283 Thorictinae specimen study from Herbert Franz collection deposited in Naturhistorisches Museum Wien are summarized. The species Thorictus gigas Wollaston, 1862 is newly recorded from the Lanzarote Island. A list of species recorded from the Canary Islands is provided.
