Abstract
Four new taxa of Dermestidae are described from deposits of the Cretaceous Kachin amber from Northern Myanmar. With the descriptions of the new taxa, all previously described Cretaceous Dermestidae are investigated, and their morphological characters scored in the matrix along with all critical Recent taxa. Morphological parsimony analysis is used to evaluate the phylogenetic position of the fossils. A critical review of the Burmese amber taxa provides a further insight into the amazing diversity of the Cretaceous Dermestidae.
