Abstract
Globicornis (Dearthrus) kafkai sp. n. from Iran is described and its diagnostic characters are illustrated. The span of variability of the colour elytral pattern in Globicornis (.Dearthrus) quadriguttatus Reitter, 1878 is given. The occurrence G. (D.) bodemeyeri (Gangl- bauer in Bodemeyer, 1900) in Turkey is confirmed. G. (D.) quadrinaevus Reitter, 1908 is new to the fauna of Tadzhikistan. A list of all known Holarctic species belonging to the subgenus Dear thrus LeConte, 1861 is given (including synonymes).
