Abstract
The lectotype of Trogoderma celatum Sharp, 1902 from Mexico is designated and the species is compared with two related species: T. ornatum Say, 1825 and T. sternale aspericole Casey, 1900. Key words: Lectotype, designation, Coleoptera, Dermestidae, Megatominae, Trogoderma celatum, Mexico.
