Abstract
Trogoderma ainu sp. nov. (Dermestidae; Megatominae) is described from the middle Eocene Sakhalinian amber. It is the first dermestid known from the Eocene of Asia and the second Trogoderma species from amber. The genus Trogoderma is known in fossil resins only in the preimaginal state. Fossil dermestid records are listed.
